Ultrasound Cavitation
Low-frequency ultrasound that shrinks superficial fat gradually, across a measured course.
Low-frequency sound waves disrupt superficial fat cells so the body clears the released fat through its own metabolism. It is gentle and gradual, which is exactly why it is sold honestly here: a course with fixed-point tape measurements at every visit, and a mid-course review that says whether it is earning its place. Centimetre change at the treated area is the realistic goal — not weight loss.

How it works
- Low-frequency ultrasound forms microbubbles that stress and disrupt superficial fat-cell membranes
- The released fat is processed through the liver and lymphatic system over the following days
- Change accumulates across the course, which is why single sessions prove very little
- Often paired with radiofrequency so the skin firms as the circumference reduces
Sessions & downtime
Commonly 6–10 sessions of 30 to 45 minutes, weekly or fortnightly. If the fixed-point measurements have not moved by the mid-course review, we say so and rethink rather than selling the remaining sessions.
None. Mild warmth or redness for a few hours at most. Some people notice a faint hum or ringing during the session itself — a known quirk of how the ultrasound conducts, and it stops when the session ends.
Is this suitable for Indian skin?
Ultrasound does not interact with melanin, so this is one of the treatments where deeper skin tones carry no added pigmentation risk. Comfort and skin response are still checked through every session.
Aftercare
- Drink water normally and keep lightly active after sessions
- Alcohol is best avoided around session days while the liver does the clearing work
- Hold a steady weight through the course, or the tape cannot show you what the sessions did
- Report any skin change at the area that lasts beyond a day
When we would not treat
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Liver disease — the released fat is processed by the liver, so we do not add to its workload
- Active infection or broken skin at the area, or a hernia at the site
- Metal implants or an implanted electrical device at or near the treatment area

Frequently asked
Does ultrasound cavitation actually work?
For many people it produces modest, measurable centimetre change across a full course — which is why we measure at fixed points every visit rather than asking you to take it on faith. It does not work equally for everyone, and where your own tape says it is not earning its place, we stop recommending it.
What does it cost?
Sessions start at ₹2,000, paid per session, with the course for your areas set after the doctor's assessment. There is no package to sign and nothing to commit to beyond the next session.
How is it different from fat freezing?
Cavitation works gradually across many short sessions and suits broader, softer areas; cryolipolysis treats a distinct pinchable pocket in one or two longer sittings. They are different tools for different problems, and the assessment — not the price list — decides.
Can it reduce the fat deep inside the tummy?
No. Cavitation reaches the superficial layer under the skin, not the visceral fat behind the muscle wall. Visceral fat is a medical weight question — diet, activity and the doctor-led programme — and we will say so plainly if that is what your assessment finds.
Is it safe?
It is an established cosmetic device treatment with a good record when the exclusions are respected — that is what the screening is for. Pregnancy, breastfeeding and liver disease rule it out, and we check before anything starts.
When will I see change?
Across the course rather than after one session, with the honest verdict coming from the tape at reviews. Anyone promising visible change from a single session is selling the session, not the result.
