Laser hair removal vs electrolysis
Electrolysis is the only method recognised as permanent hair removal: a fine probe destroys each follicle individually, one at a time. Laser gives long-term reduction across a whole area far faster, but not removal for life. Electrolysis also works on grey, white and fine hair, which laser cannot treat at all.

Choose laser hair removal if

- The hair is grey, white, red or very fine — laser cannot target it
- You are dealing with a handful of stray hairs rather than an area
- You want the hairs treated gone for good rather than reduced

Can electrolysis treat grey or white hair?
Yes, and it is the main reason to choose it. Electrolysis does not rely on pigment, so it works where laser cannot target anything at all. If your hair is grey, white or very pale, this is the honest recommendation regardless of what a laser clinic would prefer to sell you.
Why not just have electrolysis everywhere?
Time. Electrolysis treats one hair at a time, so an underarm that laser clears in ten-minute sessions takes many hours across many appointments. On a full leg it is impractical. It is best used on small areas, or to finish stray hairs after a laser course.
Do you offer electrolysis?
No. We offer laser hair removal, and where electrolysis is the better answer for you — grey or fine hair, or a handful of stray hairs — we will say so rather than sell you a course that cannot work.
